What thickness can the MA1 weld?

The MA1 ULTRA welds up to 8.5 mm of stainless in a single pass. The range runs from 3.5 mm (MA1-35) through 4.5 mm (MA1-45) to 6.5 mm (MA1-65) — across steel, aluminium, titanium and nickel alloys.

Do operators need special training?

No welding ticket required. With the 7″ touchscreen and factory presets, most operators are productive within hours and fully proficient in one to two weeks.

Is laser welding safe on the shop floor?

Yes. Every MA1 has a double-secured contact sensor, an emergency-off, an optional door interlock and a safety key lock. With laser-safety glasses and curtains — or a dedicated room — it fits safely into any workshop.

What certifications does the MA1 hold?
